TaxPod.ca (“TaxPod”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a Canadian online platform that allows users to register, submit personal and tax-related information, and access tax filing services. By accessing or using TaxPod.ca, you agree to the terms outlined below.

If you do not agree with these Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, you must not use this platform.

1. Services

TaxPod provides tools and workflows to assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns in Canada. The accuracy of any tax filing depends entirely on the information provided by the user.

2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information you submit is accurate, complete, and up to date.

3. Automated Tools & Chatbot

TaxPod may provide automated tools, including a chatbot, to offer general information, respond to queries, or assist users in navigating the platform. These tools are informational only and do not constitute professional tax advice.

Users must not enter personal, financial, or sensitive information (including SIN, tax identifiers, income details, or documents) into the chatbot.

Any information entered into the chatbot is done entirely at the user’s own risk. TaxPod does not guarantee the confidentiality, storage, retention, or security of data entered into the chatbot interface.

TaxPod shall not be responsible for any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or data exposure resulting from information entered into the chatbot.

4. Information We Collect

To provide tax filing services, TaxPod collects personal and tax-related information submitted through secure registration forms and designated platform workflows.

TaxPod does not intend for the chatbot to be used for submitting personal or sensitive information. Any such information entered into the chatbot is not considered part of TaxPod’s secure data collection process and may not be preserved or protected.

7. Fees & Payments

Fees for services are disclosed prior to purchase. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable once processing has begun.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaxPod is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and this Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable provincial laws.
